El-Alamein Tour from Alexandria port

Relish an over day trip to El Alamein, approximately 110 Km away from Alexandria. Proceed to World War II remains and cemeteries,( WW II Cemetery). El Alamein Battle was one of the most significant confrontations of this War. We pick you up at 7:30 am from your hotel in Cairo, then you will travel about 3 hours to Alexandria which is the Shining pearl of the Mediterranean Sea known as "The Pearl of the Mediterranean". First visit Pompay's Pillar, It was constructed in honor of the Emperor Diocletian at the end of the 4th centaury.

Originally from the temple of the Serapis, it was once a magnificent structure rivaling the Soma and the Caesareum.

Then proceed to Quitbay Citadel which was built on the site of the ancient pharos ( light house of Alexandria ), have your lunch in a local restaurant.

Visit the Catacombs which are the largest Roman Cemetery consisting of three levels cut in the rock . Transfer back to your hotel.
